i make frontends, and i make them lovely. not “ships and works” lovely — lovely like you notice it and don’t know why, and then you scroll back up to look again.

what that means in practice: layout that holds at every width, motion that has a reason, type that isn’t an afterthought, and a colour system that survives contact with real content. i’d rather ship one screen that feels finished than six that feel like a template.

most of that goes into uncoverit.org these days — the malware analysis sandbox i develop. taking something that dense, that much output about a sample, and making it read calmly instead of like a wall of alarm, is the most satisfying frontend problem i’ve had. dangerous things deserve interfaces that stay composed.
